NuFountain started with a simple frustration: too much skincare is sold on a promise and a pleasant scent, and too little of it is actually built to work. Since 2011, from our lab in Lakewood, Colorado, we have made the opposite kind of product - serums built around clinical actives at real strengths, in the cleanest formulas we know how to make, mixed fresh for every order.

What we believe

A formula is only as honest as its ingredient list. An active only helps if it is present at a meaningful strength, held at the pH its chemistry needs, carried in a base that lets it absorb, and used before it degrades. Everything we make follows that logic - and everything we leave out follows it too. If you want the technical version, it is all laid out in the science.

Made fresh, not stockpiled

The most effective actives - high-dose vitamin C, retinoids, copper peptides - are also the most fragile, and they begin losing potency the moment they are bottled. Most brands hide that behind heavy preservatives and long shelf lives. We do the opposite: every batch is made to order, filled into amber glass, and sent to you at the start of its life instead of the end. It is why we ask you to keep them cold, and why what you apply is the full-strength formula we mixed, not a faded version of it.

What we leave out

Clean, for us, is a performance decision before it is a marketing one. No fragrance or essential oils, no silicones or PEGs, no heavy fillers - nothing that takes up space without earning it or risks irritating your skin. Every product is vegan, cruelty-free, and checked against a full list of exclusions. That complete list, and the reason behind each one, is on the blacklist.

The promise

We would rather show our work than ask you to trust a slogan. So we publish the exact strength and pH of every formula, explain the evidence behind each active, and tell you plainly when a result is cosmetic. Skincare should be effective, honest, and clean - all three at once, with nothing hidden. That is the whole idea behind NuFountain.
