Acne:
NuFountain products are non-comedogenic (meaning they won't clog pores and are safe for acne-prone skin). In fact, they are great for all skin types. If you have acne, you'll never have to worry about a NuFountain product.
That said, if you're experiencing regular breakouts, you may want to think about your skincare routine and daily habits.
First, take a look at the ingredients in all products you are currently using. You can obtain a list from a dermatologist, but here are some ingredients to avoid:
Also, think about hair products you use, including shampoo and conditioner. Since most hair products contain moisturizing ingredients (and you probably won't want to trade them in for dry, frizzy hair) be sure not to let them come in prolonged contact with acne-prone areas of your skin. Hair sprays, gels and the like can be particularly troublesome if you have oily skin.
Going to sleep with clean skin is essential to a clearer morning. Even if you don't wear makeup or have only worn sunscreen or moisturizer during the day, oily skin can turn into a breeding ground for acne-causing bacteria. You'll also want to make sure your pillow case is clean. This doesn't mean you have to have a fresh one each night, just be mindful and wash it as often as necessary. Always cleanse your skin in the morning and at night, but try not to cleanse too much as this can cause an increase in oil production. Morning and evening cleansing is a wonderful lifetime habit.
If you exercise, make sure you begin with clean skin. Try not to block pores on your forehead by wearing headbands too close to the skin. During the day, pay attention to little things like resting the phone on your cheek, resting your chin in your hand, etc.
If you tend to break out around your mouth, consider lipsticks, lip balms and even the oils from the pizza you had for lunch or the salad dressing you used at dinner. In short, just pay attention to things you may not have noticed before. It can mean fewer breakouts and much less stress.
Stress can also be a factor in causing pimples. When we are irritated, tired or overworked, our adrenal glands produce more androgens (male hormones, produced by both men and women). That can cause a increase in oil production and an acne flare-up. Plenty of rest, moderate exercise and relaxation go a long way when it comes to clearer skin.
Dry Skin and Moisturizing:
Although dry skin may be caused by external factors such as cold, wind and improper skin care, if you have truly dry skin, you don't have to worry as much about the precautions described for those with oily skin. Although, as may know from experience, dry skin can break out occasionally. NuFountain products will not interfere with your current dry skin care routine.
Here are some tips to ensure more supple, comfortable days and nights:
One of the best times to apply a moisturizer is immediately following a warm bath or shower. Make sure the water temperature you bathe in is not too hot, as prolonged heat, wet or dry, can make dry skin even more uncomfortable. Try to keep baths and showers at about 15 minutes or less. Moisturizing damp skin helps keep water in the surface cells of the skin longer than if you moisturize once your skin is dry. It's also good to pat your skin dry with a towel (a helpful rule for any skin type) instead of rubbing and possibly causing surface irritation.
If needed, you can also mist your skin during the day with plain water and follow with a moisturizer. Flower waters are also wonderful to carry with you during the day. Rosewater is particularly soothing. Just make sure the label states that it's a true hydrosol. This means the beneficial properties of the rose (or herb of your choice) has been infused into the water by the process of distillation. If you're concerned about clogged pores, make sure you use a non-comedogenic moisturizer (which will not block pores), but if you have very dry skin, choose a moisturizer labeled for your condition.
While regular exfoliation is a great idea, it should be kept to a minimum of about once a week as you don't want to strip your skin. You may have extra sensitive skin, so it's good practice to look for products free of perfumes and harsh detergents like sodium lauryl sulfate.
There is some evidence to suggest that a regular intake of fish oils like salmon oil can help keep your skin soft and supple. Also, adding a humidifier to your home keeps indoor air more comfortable during winter months.\
Follow the tips above and you're on your way to healthier skin. You may even discover a few new ones of your own.

Put drops in the palm of one hand, use fingertips to spread and concentrate on special areas if needed.
Dropper application usually results in too much serum being applied -- and wasting serum as it will run off your face. Use fingertip or patting for proper application!
